How to legally exend your stay in Buenos Aires
There is another solution other than paying the 180 pesos fine or taking a day trip to Uruguay. The legal way to prolongue your stay in Buenos Aires is to fill out a form at the Direccion Nacional de Migraciones. Here is the link to all the paper work. the fees range depending on where you're from and what you are doing in Buenos Aires. Suerte!

Hey, that is a very good tip you have provided us with here. I mean, last year, I love Argentina so much, that I wanted to stay for another whole month and I did not know what to do. A friend told me what you are saying about the Direccion Nacional de Migraciones and I was able to stay longer. I had been staying in an apartment in buenos aires that was close to all the tourist attractions since it was in Palermo. it is definitely the Paris of South Amercia. So classy!
